Support Groups for men
Andys Man Club
set up to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and create a judgment-free, confidential space where men can be open about the storms in their lives. Andys man club provide weekly, free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups for men aged over 18.
Set up by the mother and brother in law of Andrew Roberts, a man who sadly took his own life aged 23 in early 2016. ANDYSMANCLUB now has groups at almost 100 locations across three counties of the UK. Click here to go to the website and find out if there is a group near you.
Men's Shed association
Men’s Sheds are community spaces for men to connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but for groups of men to enjoy together . They help reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, they’re fun. There are currently 545 Men's sheds in the uk with another 128 in development. Dangerous Dads network
The Dangerous Dads network was established in 2007 as a Children's Centre Project. Now there are groups accross the UK and Internationally.
The groups run regular , fun activities for fathers and male carers of children of all ages. They also run the annual Dadfest a weekend of outdoor fun for male carers and their children. Click here to find out more!
